Catamount Womenaid is a women-led nonprofit that was founded in 2011 to raise money to provide local people with emergency financial assistance that is not readily available through other resources. Money is given without red tape. The requests for assistance come from validators (trustworthy sources in the community, such as school nurses, social workers, case managers, doctor’s offices, or clergy). Catamount Womenaid serves individuals and families in Barnstead, Deerfield, Epsom, Pittsfield, Northwood, and Strafford NH. We believe that communities possess the resources to sustain their members and we strive to make that possible.
Our mission:
Catamount Womenaid provides financial assistance for individuals in the community in times of need. We are a volunteer-run, grassroots nonprofit.
