Founded in 2011, Catamount Womenaid is a women-led, volunteer-run nonprofit organization dedicated to helping individuals and families across Barnstead, Deerfield, Epsom, Pittsfield, Northwood, Strafford, NH and surrounding towns. We believe in the power of community to sustain its members through kindness, inclusion, and hope.

A Helping Hand When You Need It Most

Catamount Womenaid provides short-term, emergency financial assistance for essentials such as rent, utilities, transportation, and more. We ensure the process is simple, respectful, and confidential.

We partner with trusted community members (Validators) —school nurses, social workers, clergy, and other local professionals—to identify individuals in need.  Validators submit assistance requests on behalf of their clients, ensuring help reaches the right people quickly and effectively.
